Response to the client brief
Demographics
The audience are mainly those who are interested by chocolate, these being the main audience of which the advert appeals to, it would potentially be targeted to a younger audience based on the design of the packaging for the chocolate bars. For my advertising campaign I would include all the different ranges of chocolate which Cadbury has to offer this would done so that the audience are informed about the different brands of chocolate as well as to gain their interest from promoting the brands they like most. Some advantages to making the advertising campaign are that it helps to promote Cadburys itself but also the different brands of chocolate which they produce this helps to attract current and potential customers who may be interested in specific chocolate brands which will encourage them to purchase them this would benefit Cadburys as they gain more customers which means overall more sales revenue from the purchases made by new customers. Some challenges which are a possibility when it comes to my advertising campaign could be related to legal issues that may need to be dealt with this could include ensuring the content is not inappropriate in any sort of way as well as copyright claims that may be made against the advert.
Conventions
The conventions that will be included in my work are voice overs, slogans and logos. The way that I will include each convention is that I would include the logo in the beginning of the advert as an opening to the advert this would be done to promote the brand, the slogan would be presented at the end of the advert to end it off to promote Cadbury and their products, for the voice over I would include it during the advert potentially when the Cadbury bar is presented during the scenario which the advert is set in.
Industry requirements
The industry that my advertising campaign is being produced for is Cadbury's chocolate. Cadbury was founded in 1831 by John Cadbury in Birmingham, England and is a multi-national confectionary company which sells a range of chocolate but are most famous for their dairy milk chocolate bar. Some advantages of working with Cadburys is the fact that Cadbury itself is already a well-established brand. In regard to the target audience there are issues that must be taken into consideration in regard to what content is shown on the adverts in order to ensure that the content that is shown is truthful and is not misleading in any way. In terms of the institutional information that must be included in the advert the name of the company, their logo and their slogan.
Medium
The medium that I am working in is radio and print in regard to the the text that will be produced within this particular medium is going to be a Tv advert, the genre itself that will fit best is comedy due to the fact that it would help draw attention of the audience.
